Reading through quite a few posts lately many of you have said you haven't had the time to blog, or read blogs, or catch up with blogs. ETC... ETC... ETC...
Give yourself a break! You are either enjoying life, or tending to life. Focus on that. Everyone will be here when you get back.
Phew...I try really hard to keep up with all my alerts, but sometimes they get away from me. I hate that. I like people to read and comment on mine and I want to do the same for everyone else. It's just summer I guess. Lot's more time in the winter.

you said it so good, Rosemary; I hate when people say things like that, its like its a job to journal and it shouldn't be a job to journal; it should be fun and if it gets too stressing, people should turn off their alerts or delete them; I said it before and I'll say it again, these should be people's priorities:

Spouse (if married)
Children/family
Work
Friends
people sometimes lose sight of things and get overwhelmed with journals; you are absolutely right, they will still be there when someone takes a break; I took a 15-month break and came back to the same problems people were having in their lives, etc
great entry! enjoy the day

I agree, these journals can get ahead of us and we should not feel guilty for taking a break. There are so many reasons why people journal and my reason is that I just really enjoy the different lives, photos, graphics, jokes, etc. I like to keep it simple :)........alice
