Time and Space

Travel has thrown me off just a bit. The west coast and the schedule here have made it difficult to keep a steady posting.  Lack of Internet service has also put a damper on my ability to post blogs and read others as well.

Therefore I am taking my own suggestion and enjoying the moment I am in, knowing with complete certainty,  that I will be able to handle all that is awaiting me when I am able to tend to it.

Time.  Everything that has ever happened, everything that is happening now, and everything that will ever happen in the future, is happening at this very moment.  It's a bit of quantum physics for you, but think about it for a while.

Impossibility will be our topic for the upcoming week.  Ponder the statement above and pair it with anything you may consider impossible.

I found this poem and thought I would share it with you, I think it fits well with today's posting. (Late as it May Be)

Because I Could Not Stop For Death

by Emily Dickenson

Because I could not stop for Death—
He kindly stopped for me—
The Carriage held but just Ourselves—
And Immortality.

We slowly drove—He knew no haste
And I had put away
My labor and my leisure too,
For His Civility—

We passed the School, where Children strove
At Recess—in the Ring—
We passed the fields of Gazing Grain—
We passed the Setting Sun—

Or rather—He passed Us—
The Dews drew quivering and chill—
For only Gossamer, my Gown—
My Tippet—only Tulle—

We paused beforea House that seemed
A Swelling of the Ground—
The Roof was scarcely visible—
The Cornice—in the Ground—

Since then—'tis Centuries—and yet
Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses' Heads
Were toward Eternity—

When it rains and thunders, and the power goes out...I notice time slows and we all enjoy it.... (well, most of us do....my boys start complaining about the lack of video games...LOL)  When you take away all the distractions, life can be pretty okay... :)
